Wordpress and its plugins....

A beautiful evening to write..the festive season, the calm wind adds to the mood. Today as i sit down on my electronic typewriter sipping my fresh brewed coffee, i thought why dont i write about the world's fastest growing tool. Yup you read it write a tool that not only let you make out of the box designed blogs but also websites crafted in one of the best user interfaces you will ever see. Its WordPress, a blogging site...a website maker...a open source community and the list would go on and on.

Earlier when we use to code websites using HTML and CSS alongwith the JS , it took days and even months to create a fully functional website which has a great interface, is easy to use, engages Tye user and the most important thing looks good and pleasant to see. But thanks to WordPress this stuff can now be developed in 3 to 4 days at max.

Now what is so different in WordPress that makes it stand out of the league? Is it drag and drop functionalities or the fancy templates... well no. The major reason fir The success  of WordPress were the plug-ins thousands of them , for almost each and every functionality. Now whats a plug-in? Let's understand this with a example : we all charge our smartphones using a charger right! And moat of us would have noticed as we plug in the charge in our smartphone it starts charging. Now you might thing how is that example relevant to a WordPress function... well try to grasp this "plug-in" is nothing but a mere connection made between two things. In our example it was phone and the charger  whereas in WordPress its the connection of tge developed site to a pre made software which can reduce hundreds or even thousands of codes. For scrolling a picture on the top of yoyr website you need to use the marquee tag, provide the height ..the width and what not. In WordPress all you got to do is install a plugin such as htslider from the WordPress plugin store and you will get your job done within seconds. Just like the slider we have plugins for all sorts of functionalities from scrolling text to making a phone call righr from your website! Dont you find it amazing....so give it a try ...build a website using WordPress plugins and you'll be amazed to see how quickly and easily you could be the next amazon of the world. Good luck folks!
